A New Haven, Connecticut, media executive specializing in business development and digital innovation, Richard "Rich" Graziano draws upon three decades of relevant experience in his role as vice president and general manager at Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc. Outside of his professional pursuits, Richard J. Graziano is a football fan who counts the New England Patriots as his favorite National Football League (NFL) team.
The Patriots filled a special teams void on March 23 when the team signed veteran safety Cody Davis. While he played nearly 60 percent of defensive snaps with the Los Angeles Rams in 2017, Davis has primarily been a special teams contributor throughout his career, and is likely to fill that role in New England, especially with Nate Ebner leaving the Patriots to sign with the New York Giants.
Undrafted out of college, Davis signed with the Rams prior to the 2013 season, and has since developed into a premier special teams player. He played the past two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and was named its special teams captain in 2019. Through 97 career regular season games, Davis has 83 tackles, two interceptions, and two fumble recoveries.
