The largest agency in the state of Connecticut, Interval House has been helping women and families for almost half a century. Every year, the agency assists approximately 4,500 victims of domestic violence in 24 towns and cities at no charge.
Some of the free and confidential services offered by Interval House are the 24-hour hotline, an open emergency safe house for victims, and community education and outreach. The Interval House emergency safe house has 20 beds and accessible to people with disabilities.
Women and children who have suffered or are suffering from abuse can reach the agency for the emergency housing service any hour of the day, any day of the year. The staff is comprised of people who speak both English and Spanish.
